Maya Universe Academy is a chain of schools in Nepal. They aim to give access to affordable and quality education to all rural areas in Nepal where public schools fail to deliver acceptable results.

Maya provides children living in poor and rural communities equal opportunity to high educations standards  whilst promoting sustainable community development and trade.

Martijn had the opportunity to live in this community for 5 weeks to make a video series about life at Maya to get their story out into the world. During this time Martijn was also giving film and photography classes to the kids.
